The Vostro 1000 notebook can have one of several AMD processors, the Sempron,™ the Turion™ and the Athlon™ 64 X2, which is a dual-core CPU, capable of running at a 1.7-GHz clock-speed. Memory can be 512-MB, up to 4-GB of SDRAM, and hard drives range from 60 to 160-GB of storage capacity. Optical drives can be the standard CD-burner, DVD playback or a double-layer DVD burner. Internal Wi-Fi is available for various formats including Wireless-N mode. The Dell Vostro 1000 has a 15.4-inch widescreen XGA LCD with an anti-glare display.
