The Acer 500 Travel Companion lets you take your office with you; data and e-mail utilizing Microsoft® Office applications, including Word, Excel, Power Point, calendar, contacts, photos and other images. It has the Samsung S3C2442 processor, capable of 300-MHz. It has 64-MB of SDRAM for user applications and storage and 128-MB of flash memory for the operating system and embedded apps. This can be augmented by an expansion slot for SD/MMC media. It comes loaded with ALK navigation software.
The case we designed especially for the Acer c500 Travel Companion fits it like an expensive glove. There's a hard plastic shield embedded in a long padded flap that provided four layers of material over the vulnerable 2.8" touchscreen and the navigation controls.
A rugged, spear-in buckle that closes the web belt-loop, locks the Pouch case onto a belt or purse-strip. A pocket on the back for additional media cards is secured with Velcro.
