This is a thumbnail review of the ASUS Eee-701 PC mini-notebook from ASUSTek Computer Inc. It runs on an Intel™ Mobile processor capable of operating on either Linux or Windows XP systems. The Eee-701 has 512-MB of memory and the user has a choice of 4, 8, or 16 gigabytes of solid-state Flash memory, in place of the usual mechnical hard drive. The display is but 7-inches, measured diagonally.
