Inside the 18-ounce eBook Reading Device is 4-MB of memory and 8-MB internal Flash for program and content storage, plus expansion via a SmartMedia slot for up to 128-MB more. The Bookwise 1150 has enough internal memory to hold 15 to 20 eBooks at a time and optional SmartMedia cards can store hundreds more eBooks in the Bookwise 1150 Reading Device.
