The IdeaPad Y510 is powered by an Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor - with a clock speed of up to 1.83-GHz, Memory up to 4-GB, a hard drive with a maximum capacity of 250-GB, augmented by a 6-in-1 card reader. The IdeaPad Y510 has a 15.4" WXGA widescreen display.
Lenovo includes a dual-layer CD/DVD writer and a PRO/Wireless WLAN in either the ABG or AGN format for hotspot connectivity. IdeaPad Y510 also has a 1.3-MP camera and the Dolby® Home Theater Audio system, which includes 4 speakers and a sub-woofer.
The Lenovo IdeaPad has a unique security feature: VeriFace™ recognition software. Using the built-in 1.3 camera, VeriFace™ recognizes you when you're seated at the IdeaPad Y510!
