The Lenovo IdeaPad Y710 is loaded several innovations, including Lenovo VeriFace™ recognition software, which when combined with a built-in 1.3-MP camera, recognizes the designated user. Buyers have a choice of Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processors with speeds up to 2.5-GHz, up to 4-GB of memory and a 5400-RPM hard drive that can store up to 500-GB. In fact, the IdeaPad Y710 has two separate hard drives, one of which can be hot-swapped. A big feature of the IdeaPad Y710 is a Dolby® Home Theatre™ sound system with 4 speakers and a sub-woofer. The display is a 17" widescreen with Lenovo VibrantVision.™ It also has "halo lighting" around a screen with such a thin bezel surrounding it, that it appears to be frameless. The IdeaPad definitely has an innovative look about it.
