Meet mylo - My Life On Line. Learn how this versatile personal communicator can do it all: Make free internet phone calls with Skype, surf the web, watch videos, send e-mail and switch among instant messages on Skype, Yahoo! and Google. The slide-out keyboard prevents having to make multiple key presses necessary on most cell phones.
Skype international service allows you to make free phone calls to and from any Skype-enabled device anywhere in the world, or you can use mylo to SkypeOut to any phone for a nominal fee. The mylo also seeks out WiFi hotspots for you, so you can communicate via an 802.11b WLAN built into mylo.
The Sony mylo COM-2 communicator plays personal videos and photos you've made with your digital camera and it plays MP3, ATRAC and WMA audio formats. The mylo also permits multi-tasking. For example, listen to music as you do instant messaging. In Sony's Ad Hoc mode, you can share your play lists and stream songs between two mylos, one at a time.
The mylo personal communicator Com 2 phone also lets you download your personal photos or JPEG pictures from the internet. Optional Sony Memory Stick Duo™ cards in an expansion slot means there if no end to the stuff you can store.
The Internet looks better on mylo. It lets you scroll pages vertically and horizontally and zoom in and out on a page, employing the HTML format, and not WAP as found on most phones. The mylo has a built in mike and built in speakers for music playback - or you can use the stereo earbuds for privacy.
The mylo comes with a thin slipcase, but that's not going to insure the maximum protection that comes with The Pouch case for mylo,
