New Apple iBook® - A "Shorthand" Review by The Pouch, Inc. Carrying Case Co.

In 2001 - A new iBook from Apple became available. With it, you can watch DVDs or use the FireWire® port to transfer clips from your camcorder to the iBook's hard disk and then edit them with other images and music. Burn your own CDs or convert them to MP3 files with iTunes® software. Since the introduction of this iBook mutation, Apple offered a choice of 500 or 600-MHz processors. All configurations come with 128-MB of RAM. The latest iBook is also Airport® ready - for wireless Internet once you get an Airport® card. Apple is offering the new iBook in several configurations, all with built-in 56k modems and 10/100 Ethernet.  Drive options are: CD, DVD or CD-RW, plus there is a combination DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive available. This iBook offers hard-disk sizes up to 30-GB capacity.

This brief review of the new Apple iBook is posted by The Pouch, Inc., an independent carrying case maker.  We've been making a form-fit, protective case for the older iBook and now have one available for the new iBook, direct from our factory, for $39.95, in black - $2.00 more in a variety of colors. See what it looks like in the Laptop-Notebook Section of our Carrying Case Page below.

If you get The Pouch carrying case for your iBook, be sure and tell us whether you have the 12.1-inch or 14.1-inch iBook.
