HP Pavilion from Hewlett-Packard is an entire family of notebook computers - primarily for individuals or small business use. HP is featuring their two latest mutations: n5000 and n6000 "Notebook PCs." A representative Pavilion n6395 configuration would have a mobile Intel® Pentium® III processor capable of 1-Ghz with Speedstep® technology, 256-MB of SDRAM (Maximum memory: 512-MB), 30-GB of hard drive storage and 8-MB of SGRAM video memory. The n6000 series Pavilion has two type II and one type III slots, IrDA port and port replicator connector. It has a 56-Kbps built-in modem and a DVD-ROM drive for viewing films on a 15-inch, XGA screen.
