Sony VAIO SRX87, also known as PCG-SRX87,* is a mini notebook
with big freatures - more features than this brief review, posted by The Pouch,
Inc., an independent carrying case manufacturer, can accomodate on one page.
All that Sony packed into a chassis that measures 10.2 by 7.7 by 1.3" is
just as amazing.
Sony picked a low-voltage battery-saving Mobile Intel® Pentium®
III-m processor with SpeedStep®, capable of 850MHz for the VAIO SRX87. It
has a 10.4" XGA display, Intel® 815EM graphics chip and Dynamic Video®
memory, 384MB of SDRAM and a 20GB hard drive. CD-ROM/DVD-ROM or external
i-Link DVD drives are available and Sony Memory Stick® Media Slot offers almost
limitless expansion.
And, Sony Vaio SRX87 notebooks are wireless-ready for
802-11b LAN.
The inside dimensions of The Pouch carrying case match the outside of SRX87 notebook with a space-saving, padded, water-resistant covering made of durable Neoprene. Factory-direct price: $39.95 in black, $2.00 more in many colors.
