A representative ThinkPad T30 configuration can be customized with a 1.66GHz Mobile Intel® Pentium® 4 processor, 256MB of memory and either a 20 or 40GHz hard-drive. IBM has an UltraNav® pointing device  for the T30 notebook, but the familiar Trackpoint® is still available. Select ThinkPad T30s offer Cisco® and Intel® Wireless and you can order some of the T-Series notebooks Wi-Fi ungradeable. The T30 lets you choose a combo CD-RW/DVD-ROM or CD-RW optical drive.
