Palm Centro - a SmartPhone for voice, text, instant messaging, e-mail and the web. It also has software for tasks, memos, contacts, calender, and Documents to Go® - all coming by fast EVDO, broadband wireless service by Sprint. Centro has a 1.3mp camera with 2x digital zoom and video capture. Running on the Palm OS 5.4.9 platform, it has 64MB of user storage, augmented by a micro SD slot that supports up to 4GB of expanded memory. The display on Palm Centro is a 320 by 320-pixel transreflective touchscreen.
Palm's engineers have devised a unique, superlative, full thumbboard for the Centro, plus a speaker, microphone and headset jack - when you desire more privacy. The Centro has integrated Bluetooth® connectivity as well - All packed into a 4.22 x 2.11 x 0.73-inch very smart phone. That is small!
And did we mention color? Gorgeous Ruby Red and Onyx black.
This introduction to the Palm Centro SmartPhone is presented by The Pouch, Inc., the little custom shop in Tucson, Arizona. Protection and color are the two big issues with every wireless phone case we make. First, we use a naturally-cushiony material, Neoprene,* with additional padding. Neoprene* is rugged, water-resistant material developed by DuPont for wetsuits. Learn more on a link at the bottom of this page: "What's Neoprene?"
We don't make "generic-size" cases. Each is tailored; hand-sewn, one-at-a-time, by expert seamstresses to fit the Palm Centro smartphone like an expensive glove.
Since the Pouch carrying case we have designed especially for the Palm Centro has a slight amount of stretch, it helps hold the phone in the Pouch. The entire front of our protective case is then covered by a long padded flap with a hard, plastic shield embedded it. The flap is secured at the bottom of our Pouch case with Velcro, in order to afford four layers of protection for the display and keyboard of the Palm Centro phone.
The Standard Pouch we make specifically for Palm Centro has a rugged spear-in buckle on a sturdy, web belt loop that will lock our Pouch case securely onto a belt, purse or backpack.
