Sony VAIO VGN-FS550 Notebook Carrying Case
Make your own movies, record music or TV shows and store it in the Sony VAIO FS550 laptop computer. This review of the Sony VGN-FS550, "entertainment" notebook is posted by The Pouch, Inc., because we make a durable carrying case in a space-saving model that is tailored to the Sony VAIO FS Series Notebook's exact dimensions. More on our case follows this review of a multi-media laptop, with integrated Wireless LAN and a 15.4-inch widescreen LCD, XBRITE™ display.
The VAIO FS550 is powered by an Intel® Premium M processor running at 1.60-GHz. It has 512-MB of memory and an 80-GB hard drive, a Sony Memory Stick™ slot and a slot for Type I and Type II PC cards that also supports CardBus expansion cards. Wireless Net connectivity is provided by the Intel® PRO 802.11 b/g WLAN.
The integrated optical drive is a double layer drive with which the user can play CDs and DVDs as well as burn and store up to 8.5-GB of CD music, digital photos, TV shows and DVD movies. The VAIO FA550 notebook has a convenient "click to DVD" control that instantly rings up the curtain on your favorite DVD entertainment.
Lest we forget, the VAIO FS550 is a powerful computer. It has Windows® Microsoft® Office; word processing, spreadsheet and scheduling as well as Intuit® Edition 2005 bookkeeping software.
The chassis on the VAIO VGN-FS series notebook from Sony is relatively large: 14.33 by 10.41 by 1.41-inches, due partly to the big, wide screen, 15.4-inch display. The factory-direct price of a form-fit carrying case made of tough, water-resistant black Neoprene* for the VAIO FS550 notebook is $49.95. It is also available from The Pouch, Inc. in a variety of handsome colors for just $2.00 more. No one does color like The Pouch!
